Our Intentional Voice is an evidence-based approach that highlights the importance of our social interactions with children within the learning environment.
It unpacks the complexity of our social interactions and provides Educators and Community with practical knowledge and skills to further enrich their conversation investments with children.
Our Intentional Voice is about bringing the child's voice to the centre of our daily curriculum and empowering all adults to support and foster the whole child.
Its implementation produces learning environments that are academically, emotionally and culturally inclusive, and responsive; all through the power of conversation investment.

The Spotlight Program
The Spotlight Program
Four 1.5hr In-House Capacity Building Sessions bringing our Social Interactions with children into the spotlight.
Our Social Interactions are the most consistent resource we have across every environment. Yet, it is the aspect that we tend to take for granted.
'It's what we already do' is exactly why we should be actively reflecting and unpacking how and why we interact with one another.
Learning about and investing in our social interaction skills is pivotal in holding ourselves accountable within the learning environment and in understanding the needs of our children.

Why not 'Just talk more'?
Why should I learn about what I do every day?
Our Intentional Voice is about strengthening what we innately do as humans and empowering growth. Overtime habits and biases form without intention or realisation. Taking the time to invest in our understanding of Social Interactions and evaluate our everyday practice keeps us accountable, responsive and inclusive.
How is this different to the training we currently do?
Inspiring Minds seeks to find the balance between unpacking what evidence says and responding to what real life experience tells us. Unlike most training that info dumps and leaves you to figure out the so what for your practice and learning environment, Inspiring Minds supports you through the unpacking, the understanding and the implementation.
Is Our Intentional Voice a planning/programming method?
In short, No. Our Intentional Voice is focused on how we interact with one another. The BONUS is that skills provided will support your planning and programming.
Can Our Intentional Voice be accessed online and be self-paced?
Could it be? Sure. Will it be? No. Inspiring Minds values the importance of in-person support and delivery. The Pandemic forced many businesses to adapt the online business model in order to keep supporting educators, learning environments, children and communities. What has become our new way of access though has directly effected our connection to one another. In-Person collaboration creates a space for richer and deeper explorations and understandings to blossom.
Can The Spotlight Program be delivered in a Full Day Workshop?
Although 6hrs of content and skills can be delivered in a day, The Spotlight Program has been thoughtfully designed to ensure all educators, regardless of experience, can feel empowered, inspired and supported in creating responsive and inclusive changes in their learning environments. The gradual unpacking of Our Intentional Voice’s content and skills enables educators to observe their current practices and the needs of their learning environment so that they can create actionable ‘where to next’ steps without overwhelm.
Do we need to complete The Spotlight Program first?
No you don’t. However, all avenues of support through Inspiring Minds uses Our Intentional Voice. The Spotlight Program lays the foundation of concepts, skills and language of Our Intentional Voice so that future resources and professional development can be focused on being responsive to the needs of your learning environment.
We have completed The Spotlight Program. Now What?
1) Learning Environments who have completed The Spotlight Program receive FREE monthly PDF resources. Inspiring Minds can facilitate a Professional Conversation that unpacks how this would support the needs of your learning environment.
2) Enquire about a Tailored- Mentor program. Let Inspiring Minds support you through Capacity Building Sessions, resources and on-the floor guidance to help support a barrier OR strengthen an area of growth.
3) Select an aspect of Our Intentional Voice you would like to explore more in-depth: Our Glasses, Spaces We Hold or Taking Inventory.
4) Attend a Professional Development else where and have been left with so what? Inspiring Minds can facilitate a Professional Conversation to create a “How will this sound in my learning environment” action plan.
What funding is available?
Inspiring Minds Professional Development can supported by Kindy Uplift Funding.
Inspiring Minds is also an Innovation Support Provider. If you have identified barriers in your Strategic Inclusion Plan with Inclusion Support, funding may be available.
